A sign of the vitality of scientific exchanges, many events are held in the Paris Île-de-France Complex Systems Institute. The ISC also supports many scientific events held outside the Institute.

ISC-PIF Upcoming Events

The diversity of the Institute’s events is as rich as the diversity of themes explored by the science of complex systems! Seminars, workshops, thematic institutes, and summer schools are regularly organized and proposed to members of the Institute and to all those involved in complex systems research.
Researchers from the complex systems community are welcome to organize events at the Institute. Indeed, the ISC’s three rooms are available to researchers: for more information, visit the room reservation page.

V2CS « First International workshop on Verification and Validation of multi-agent models for complex systems »

Several works investigate the domain of validation and verification of Agent Based model. They provide techniques to ensure the efficiency of model in general or specific case. The aim of this conference is to share experiences in validation and verification of complex system agent based model in order to make an overview of the domain. Every work and experience about retrospective validation, complex system case studies, validation and verification techniques are invited in this conference.

Development and Learning in Artificial Neural Networks Workshop

DevLeaNN is a two-day workshop devoted to showcasing the current state-of-the-art at the intersection of development and learning in artificial neural network design. The relationship between learning and development in the generation of neural networks is highly complex, but the interplay between the two processes has potential to drastically improve our understanding of neural processes and our capacity to direct their functionality...

SynBioCCC

SynBioCCC will be the first workshop on synthetic biology in ECAL. It aims at providing a forum for electrical and computer science/engineering researchers who wish to be introduced to, or present their own work in, synthetic biology. This year, we will place a special focus on the three C’s (Computing, Control & Communications).
